LENS Neurofeedback

LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) is a unique form of direct neuro/biofeedback. It works directly with the Central Nervous System (CNS) and helps with many physical, emotional, & cognitive concerns. LENS reads brainwaves in real time and simultaneously emits a frequency which gently disrupts "outdated" patterns, allowing for new neural pathways to be created. It is a helpful treatment for ADHD, chronic pain, concussions & TBIs, anxiety, autoimmune diseases, depression, mood disorders, and much more.

This is an in person appointment only. Recommended treatment is 10 weekly appointments or until symptoms have improved to the desired outcome. Many people experience noticeable results within the first few sessions. Home visits available upon approval. â€‹

Traditional Neurofeedback (EEG Biofeedback)

Traditional EEG neurofeedback, also called electroencephalographic (EEG) biofeedback, is a therapy method sometimes called "brain training". Essentially, it's a process of training the brain to modify its own activity by providing immediate feedback on it using electrode sensors. Brainwave information is transmitted to a computer monitor in the form of a video game or movie. Through this process, the client's brain learns how to regulate itself and achieve more optimal patterns. This can be very useful for improving cognitive function and managing symptoms such as depression, anxiety, ADHD and more. It is the process of training the brain to modify it's own activity. Each client is unique and specific training depends on the brain mapping results.

qEEG Brain Mapping

A brain map is a 21 channel electroencephalogram that assesses your unique brain wave patterns. An EEG cap is placed on your head and the electrical activity of your brain is recorded. A 12 page report is then generated describing the strengths and challenges of your brain. This 2 hour appointment includes recording the EEG in the first hour and then going over the report together the second hour. Note: This is not a diagnostic report but an informational one. Brain maps are used to create personalized treatment plans including a combination of of neurofeedback therapies such as HEG, LENS, and traditional.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy can be approached from a clinical or spiritual perspective depending on the clients' preference. Hypnosis is a state of very deep relaxation or meditation where healing is accessible. It uses techniques to help guide the cognitive/analytical mind to the side and speaks directly to (or with) the subconscious mind. Sessions may remind you of calming guided meditations you've tried before but hypnotherapy also often includes interactive conversation which is specific only to you and your goals. Can be done in person or virtually from the comfort of the client's own home.

Hypnotherapy may consist of:

  • Direct suggestion to the subconscious mind

  • Parts Work/Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Past/alternate lifetime regression (PLR)

  • Age regression therapy/Inner child work

  • Replacing old patterns and beliefs with new ones

Energy Healing

Energy healing is a multi-dimensional healing approach. Each session is different. I work intuitively and select the mode of therapy best suited to the client and their presenting concerns. I'm trained in BodyTalk and Traditional Usui Reiki and have taken courses in the science of medical intuition and other consciousness based energy healing approaches such as Mindscape. Energy work sessions may include; muscle checking, tapping, visualizations, specific breathing techniques, focused intention, smudging, and more.

In person, clients lay fully clothed on a massage table. By distance, clients may choose their check in to be by video or phone call. The rest of the session is spent in a quiet, restful state. At the end, notes of the session are sent to the client via email. You may also choose to purchase this as a gift for a loved one.
